Driver Terms & Conditions

Bakkie4You is a service operated by Rooms4You, a product of 4You (Pty) Ltd. By applying as a driver, you agree to the following terms.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must hold a valid South African driver's licence.
• You must provide accurate information during registration.

Vehicle Requirements

• You must own or have lawful permission to use the vehicle registered on the platform.
• The vehicle must be roadworthy and legally licensed.
• You are responsible for maintenance, insurance, fuel, and operating costs.

Driver Responsibilities

• Treat customers respectfully and professionally.
• Arrive on time for accepted bookings.
• Transport goods safely and lawfully.
• Comply with all South African traffic laws.

Earnings

During Beta, drivers typically retain between 85% and 90% of the booking value. Rooms4You may deduct platform fees and service charges where applicable. Fee structures may change with notice.

Verification

Rooms4You may verify driver identities, licence information, vehicle information and submitted documents. Applications may be approved, declined or suspended at our discretion.

Limitation of Liability

Drivers operate as independent service providers and not employees of 4You (Pty) Ltd. Rooms4You is not responsible for vehicle damage, accidents, injuries, theft, fines, or losses arising from transportation services.

POPIA Compliance

Personal information is processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa.
